UNITED FEDERATION OF ARTISTIC MINDS

Our mission is to foster a vibrant and inclusive community through the promotion, support, and celebration of the arts that walk in this world and activate change. We are dedicated to enhancing community awareness and participation in the arts for everyone, providing creative training and networking opportunities, supporting artists with business resources and marketing, and nurturing artistic abilities through educational workshops demonstrations, and representation. We strive to create diverse platforms for creative expression and practice, enriching the cultural landscape for all members and the broader community.

“United Federation of Artistic Minds grew out of a need to address marginalized artists and provide access to the arts for those in arts bleak areas. Following a conversation with city leaders and seeing the direction intended with major industries coming to the southeast, including Space Command, I knew I had to find a way for artists to be involved with this growth. As an established southern creative, I was already mentoring several artists and makers. As an educator I knew I needed to combine education and art on a level of professional development, regional historical significance, and personal enrichment with a strong lean toward social change. Out of many conversations, research, and an obvious gap in the creative network, United Federation of Artistic Minds was conceived and formulated. As I grew as and artist and entrepreneur, I wanted to make sure that I paved a path along the way for other creative minds to find a footing. I also wanted to provide access for those who appreciate art and would appreciate art but feel othered by traditional means. With some trepidation, I took the wheel and looked out into the Universe and declared, “Everyone should have access to art. To live out their lives in creative fashion. We will boldly utilize art to go where no art was shared before.”
